Regulations 

The FERI certificate must be validated five days before the vessel arrives at Discharge Port. Shipments who arrive without FERI or with mis information on the FERI gets penalty of twice the certificate cost plus the regulation charge determined by the custom official D.R. Congo. According to D.R. Congo Customs regulations, all shipment to D.R. Congo must be accompanied by a FERI certificate.
